FUTURE23
In an increasingly complex international environment, the Future23 National Conference will bring together the next generation of Australian leaders with Australia's leading policy thinkers and practitioners to think critically about the foreign policy, defence and strategic challenges and opportunities facing Australia and to consider how we will navigate our future in the 21st century.
Over two days (14 and 15 September) at the ANU's National Security College, young leaders from across Australia will come together to explore these themes at two keynote addresses and three expert panels; three regional breakout sessions hosted by a Canberra-based foreign ambassador; discuss their policy ideas on how Australia can uphold and promote its interests in an increasingly complex world; and choose from a range of professional and leadership development workshops.
During the evening, participants will attend the Gala Dinner, enjoying fine dining and networking opportunities with participants, as well as engage in our inaugural Industry Evening where they can connect with professional industry leaders and explore career pathways in foreign affairs. A range of pre-conference and post-conference sight-seeing opportunities will also be available for those looking to explore Canberra's national landmarks.
The participant fee includes access to all events, full day catering and your ticket to the evening events. Participants cover travel and accommodation at their own cost.
Participants from all backgrounds, education and experience in international affairs are encouraged to attend, provided you are 18 to 30 years old.
