Sir Walter Murdoch School of Public Policy and International Affairs
The Sir Walter Murdoch School of Public Policy and International Affairs offers students a unique opportunity to engage with big policy issues facing Australia and the broader Indian Ocean and Asia-Pacific region.
Taking advantage of Murdoch University’s long engagement with practical policy questions and deep connections with Asia, the Sir Walter Murdoch School is an ambitious venture in graduate education offering Masters degrees in Public Policy and Management, International Affairs and Security, Development Studies, and Health Administration, Policy and Leadership.
One of the goals of the School is to provide students with a policy-relevant immersion in contemporary issues of global governance. To this end we offer our students a range of fully-funded international scholarships integrated into our degree structure, including our flagship Global Voices scholarship which allows the School’s top-performing students to complete their Masters degree with a delegation of future leaders to the United Nations, World Bank, APEC and other international organisations.
Our faculty has recently been ranked as one of Australia's best for policy, politics and international studies (QS 2016 and ERA, 2015).
We welcome students with undergraduate degrees in any subject, and offer advance standing to those who already have a background in public policy and international affairs. Click here for more information.
