RYAN DELISSER

Chief Financial Officer

'Ryan is the Chief Financial Officer at Young Australians in International Affairs, with a background in finance, economics, and a strong interest in how global financial systems shape international development. He is currently studying Advanced Finance and Economics at the University of Queensland, where he’s developed a sharp interest in the intersection of financial markets, policy, and long-term global growth.

He's gained experience across corporate finance, corporate advisory, and financial advisory, including an internship at a startup in Singapore. These roles have given him insight into both the agility of early-stage ventures and the discipline of long-term financial strategy.

Having travelled extensively to six of the seven continents, Ryan brings a global perspective to his work, driven by curiosity about how institutions like the IMF and World Bank influence economic outcomes. At YAIA, he is focused on ensuring financial transparency and strategic growth, and is passionate about empowering young Australians to engage meaningfully with international finance and global development.'
