ERIN BLOND

Communications Director

Erin is the Communications Director at Young Australians in International Affairs (YAIA). She brings a strong background in journalism, international relations, communications, presenting, and event management, with additional experience in radio, print media, and brand development.

​

Recently graduated from a Bachelor of Politics, Economics and Philosophy and a Bachelor of Arts (International Relations and English Literature) at the Australian National University, Erin has a passion for international security, governance, and public policy. Her professional experience spans strategic communications, digital media, and content creation, currently working as a regional reporter at the Toowoomba chronicle. This makes her well-equipped to amplify YAIA’s message and engage young Australians in global affairs.

Passionate about fostering dialogue and empowering emerging leaders, Erin is committed to enhancing YAIA’s communications strategy and promoting opportunities for young people in international relations.
