TAYLAH LEATHEM

Director, Communications

Taylah is the Acting Communications Director at Young Australians in International Affairs after joining the team as a Communications Officer in February 2023 and becoming the Senior Communications Officer in March 2024. 

 

She is passionate about sharing knowledge and educating other young people to better engage in the world around them. She believes that young people are the future and works to help shape their knowledge and share their messages in her role here at YAIA and as a sessional academic at Deakin University in the International Studies degree program.

Taylah has a Diploma of Spanish, Bachelor of International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours, Anthropology) from Deakin University. She currently works at Deakin University as a sessional academic and in healthcare.
