Nuriyah Haque

Chief Operations Officer

Nuriyah Haque is the Chief Operations Officer at Young Australians in International Affairs, bringing a wealth of experience in international affairs, governance, and strategy. As a Bangladeshi, born in South Africa and raised across Australia, Nuriyah has embraced a global citizen perspective through extensive travels and studies across several continents.

 

With a Master’s in International Security from the Paris School of International Affairs at Sciences Po, Nuriyah is deeply passionate about peacebuilding, humanitarian action, and sustainable development. Nuriyah’s career spans the Australian public sector, postings at Australian embassies, and roles within international organisations. Her work has included strategising internal transformation and driving public sector innovation.

 

Currently working in the international NGO sector, she is focussed on leveraging international processes and policies to foster lasting impact and sustainable change. Committed to empowering the next generation, Nuriyah is excited to use their governance expertise to propel YAIA into supporting young Australians to make meaningful contributions to the global landscape.
