Chief Events Officer

Anna is the Chief Events Officer and Lead Melbourne Events Officer at Young Australians in International Affairs (YAIA). She joined YAIA as a Melbourne Events Officer in February 2026 and is passionate about youth engagement in international affairs and the Asia-Pacific region.

Anna started her international affairs journey at University of Melbourne where she undertook a Bachelor of Arts, french and politics. Ending up at the ANU University, Anna is completing a Masters of Middle Eastern and Central Asian Studies and works as a research intern for Oxus Society for Central Asian Affairs.

During her time with YAIA, Anna has been involved in a range of events and currently she leads events teams across Canberra, Melbourne, Brisbane and online.
