MIKAYLA HYLAND - WOOD

Mikayla leads the Partnership and Careers teams, strengthening opportunities for young Australians to engage in international pathways through strategic capacity development programs.

Mikayla recently graduated from the University of Oxford with a Master of Science in Water Science, Policy and Management, supported by a General Sir John Monash Scholarship. Her studies covered international water security, climate adaptation and sustainable agricultural systems. 

 

She currently works at the Australian Water Partnership, following experience in government, NGO and policy think tanks.

She is committed to strengthening the important role Australia plays in our region by empowering the next generation to address complex global challenges with the creativity, humility and dedication they deserve.
